CLASSIFIED REALTY GROUP Opens for Business in North Reading, MA
NORTH READING, Mass. (January 14, 2006) North Reading welcomes Classified Realty Group to 134 Park Street. The residential real estate company "officially" opened for business on January 14th. Maureen Giuliano of 5 Ladyslipper Lane is the company's broker/owner.
Giuliano has spent the last 13 years working for other brokers as a real estate agent selling properties on the North Shore and in the Merrimack Valley. According to her, she decided to open her own business now "because it is the realization of a lifelong dream and the time is right. My three children are older and I finally have the time to invest in making my business successful. I know what customers want and I recognize where most other real estate companies are failing to meet their expectations."
Giuliano plans to utilize every available technology to deliver better service to her customers. She'll rely heavily on her work experience and business background. After graduating with a B.S. from St. Michael's College, Giuliano worked for 5 years in sales and customer service for a distributor of electronic equipment. It's there she says that she learned the importance of being a good listener and the importance of following-up with the customer, skills which she brought with her to her real estate career. She continues to stay abreast of the ever changing real estate business by continuing her education. She currently has her GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute), CBR (Certified Buyer Representative) and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist).
According to Giuliano, the atmosphere at Classified Realty will be professional yet relaxed. "I hope to create an environment where the real estate agents and customers feel comfortable, while never losing sight of the importance and seriousness of the business they are conducting." Confidentiality is a must. In fact, she says, "I chose the name Classified Realty because that's how I think real estate transactions should be conducted, especially in a small town like North Reading. Clients share their most personal information with us. Things like annual income and their reasons for moving are always a part of the conversation. I'm committed to keeping that type of information very private. My company's name stands as a reminder of the company's core values"
Getting the business started has been very exciting. Giuliano says, "I'm surprised at the number of details that needed to be managed. Things like registering the business, networking the office, getting on-line, creating a website, and organizing the collateral material have taken a significant amount of time to complete. I've been fortunate to be able to call upon many of the people I know from the business community. I've relied upon them heavily to share their expertise in getting this company running."
Lastly, Giuliano is thrilled with the location. She says she is surprised at the amount of car and foot traffic. She goes on to say, "Many people have stopped in to say hello and to introduce themselves." She'd like to take credit for the high level of interest; but she says she knows better. "Having a landmark like the Hornet's Nest next store is great for business. They're wonderful neighbors! I hope people will continue to poke their head in and say hello. Walk-ins are always welcome."
