CLASSIFIED REALTY GROUP is Proud to Announce Their Election to the Realty Guild!

NORTH READING, Mass. (March 13, 2008) —

Classified Realty Group of 134 Park Street in North Reading is proud to announce their election on February 21, 2008 to the Realty Guild.  The Realty Guild was established in 1987 by a small group of independent broker/owners as a forum through which to share ideas. Over the years, the Guild has expanded both its membership as well as its services.  Today, the Guild has more than 80 offices covering more than 250 communities in Massachusetts.

Maureen Giuliano broker/owner of Classified Realty says she’s proud to be joining such an elite group of real estate companies.  “The process is pretty involved and it’s much more than a popularity contest.  Members are committed to helping one another and are dedicated to professionalism.  I share their values.”  Members of the Guild must be members of the National Association of Realtors and must be approved by a committee representing the membership.  In most cases, there is only one member office per city or town.  In larger cities, like Boston, there may be more than one.

Guild members are a select group of independent real estate companies that are not aligned with real estate chains or franchises.  Giuliano says, “When I started my business, I strongly considered joining one of the larger chains because it’s much easier to get going when most of the collateral material (i.e. marketing material) already exists.  Even doing simple things like designing a logo takes time.  Ultimately I chose to be an independent agency so I could establish my own set of corporate values.  Things like professionalism and dedication to maintaining our clients’ right to privacy are written into the company’s mission statement.  I didn’t have to adopt someone else’s idea of corporate values and that really mattered to me.”

There are a large number of tangible benefits extended to Guild members, including training for agents and member advertising opportunities.  According to Giuliano, she says her agents are very excited for Classified Realty to be a Guild member.  “They’re looking forward to taking advantage of the many sales and marketing tools the Guild offers.  However, more importantly they’re extremely excited for the office to have been recognized for its core values and for a group like the Guild to recognize the agency’s potential to make a difference in the community and in the profession.”
