A Few Helpful Hints for Getting Your Home Ready to Put On the Market:

> First impression is key — Make sure the lawn is cut, the front door is painted and clean and the door bell should work!!

> Paint — Anything and everything that needs it. You will sell your home faster and for a higher price.

> Open all curtain, shades and clean the windows.

> Fix leaky faucets, fix loose door knobs, sticky doors, broken cabinet doors, etc.

> Make sure your home is safe to show — Railings and brick work should be in good condition. Clear hallway and stairs of all debris and clutter.

> Bathrooms should be sparkling!

> Make sure a prospective buyer can view the entire home, including the attic and basement. You may have to move items out of your home to a storage facility.

> Put away jewelry, artwork and trinkets, etc.

A Few Helpful Hints for Showing Your Home:

> Turn on all the lights. Welcome the buyers to your home.

> Please leave the home during a showing if at all possible. The prospective buyer is much more comfortable when they can view the home at their own pace.

> The home should be quiet during a showing. Other than some quiet music, it is important to have all TVs off.

> Please make a plan for your pet. Either take the pet with you during a showing, or try to keep the pet to one area of the home.
