On Monday, January 10th, Classified Realty held its 15th annual awards banquet with a new twist. Unlike previous years when meetings were held in person, this year’s get-together was a Zoom meeting and it was held to celebrate the accomplishments of every sales agent at Classified Realty and to honor those who reached some incredible sales milestones.
The meeting was hosted by Maureen Giuliano, the broker-owner of Classified Realty who said this about the gathering. “2022 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for Classified Realty. There’s a new Haven Street office in Reading on the horizon, a handful of new additions to the sales team, and a terrific group of clients to who will be helping sell and buy homes. With that in mind, it’s hard to imagine a better way to kick-off the New Year than a celebration of 2021”.
When the meeting commenced, the first awards were given in recognition of Team Accomplishments.
The Quinlan Team received the Platinum Elite Club Member award for 2021 sales totaling $15 Million. Team members include Matt Quinlan (North Andover) and Sonya Quinlan (North Andover).
Receiving the Double Platinum Elite Club Member award, was the Susan Gormady Group whose team sold over $62 million. It’s the highest team sales number in the history of Classified Realty. Team members include Susan Gormady (Reading), Jamie Conn (Wilmington), Chris Gianatassio (North Reading), and Stephanie Macfarland (Reading).
Upon completion of the team awards, individual awards were presented. Silver Club Member award winners for 2021 sales volume of $5 Million+ included Christy Etienne (Wilmington), Roberta Peach (North Reading), and Lindsay Higgins (Charlestown). Laurie Cappuccio (North Reading) was the recipient of the Gold Club Member award for sales of $10 million+. Platinum award winners for reaching $15 Million in 2021 sales volume included Gina Bourikas (Wakefield), Katie Varney (Reading), and Lisa Santilli (North Reading). Receiving the Double Platinum Award for $20 Million + in 2021 sales volume was Felicia Giuliano-Kennedy (Reading).
Time was also taken during the meeting to acknowledge Lisa Santilli who is celebrating her 15th anniversary with Classified Realty. When asked about the accomplishment, Maureen Giuliano said, “Lisa was one of the first realtors to join our company. I have a hard time believing it has been 15 years since she decided to come to Classified. Lisa is an exceptionally talented sales agent. More importantly, I admire how she conducts herself professionally and personally. I love working with her and I’m proud to call her my friend.”
After the awards presentation, the meeting came to a close with some final remarks from Maureen Giuliano. She told her team, “2021 was an incredibly challenging year in real estate for all parties involved. Buyers faced an unprecedented amount of competition from other buyers. Despite the high prices they received for their homes, sellers were forced to make some difficult decisions in attempting to select the best offer for their homes, and then they were confronted with the same high level of competition when they became buyers. We often found ourselves with disappointed and frustrated buyers and everyone was learning to navigate around the distractions, challenges, and uncertainty of COVID. Despite the difficulties, we still managed to transact $251 million in total sales volume. Congratulations! You’ve done an amazing job! That’s a credit to your hard work, diligence, talent, and professionalism. 2022 promises to be another very busy year and I can’t wait to get started.”
